Questionable Content is a tale of romance and robots, a bit of sci-fi, fantasy, and slice-of-life. This venerable web comic (Jaques began the series in 2003) started out following the day-to-day lives of Marten Reed, his obnoxiously obscene robot buddy, Pintsize, and his new roommate Faye Whitaker, and over the years, has seen the characters grow, mature, travel to space, and greatly expand the roster of reoccurring characters. At times a little heavy handed (especially early on), it has tackled many potentially hot button issues, including various sexual orientations, addiction, transgender issues, library services, and illegal robot fighting. Interspersed through the first couple of years are comics featuring Yelling Bird, which is completely NSFW. The series has been attacked in the past for being offensive, overly feminist, and boring, but when you've had something running this long, you're going to run into slow spots from time to time. As of 2018, Questionable Content has been running for 14 years. If you start at the beginning, you can get caught up in approximately a week and a half. Overall, Questionable Content isn't for everyone, but I've found it enjoyable and a fun read. It's cool to see Jaques' progression as an artist over the years, and many of the story lines are quite enjoyable. As stated previously, this is mostly 𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗪, mainly due to Adult Themes, as well as language.
